Jakowicz, George #2 (4 JAN 1881 - 28 NOV 1954)
George Jakowicz, 73, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chester Kliminski, Sunday morning, Nov. 28th, 1954 of heart failure.
The deceased was born in Lithuania, Jan. 4, 1881. He arrived in America in 1904 and settled in Chicago. In Chicago he married Helen Januck, June 20, 1909. They came and settled in the Town of Withee where they resided all the time. Mrs. Jakowicz passed away on July 7, 1951.
He is survived by one son, Justin, and two daughters, Helen, Mrs. Chester Kliminski, and Julia at home, and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Chapel on Wednesday morning with Father Piekarski officiating. Interment followed at St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Kliminski, Wallace Dobrzynski, Andrew Dobrzynski, Joe Reichert, William Zawacki and St. Zawacki.
