Fleischman,
Lettia (Marriage - 1 Feb. 1958)
Miss Letitia
Fleischman and Wayne Zastrow exchanged marriage vows, Saturday,
Feb. 1, in Holy Rosary Catholic church, Medford. Rt. Rev. Msgr.
Gregory Reuter officiated at the double ring ceremony at 11:00
o’clock.
Parents of
the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fleischman of Little
Black, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Zastrow, of
Medford.
The bride,
who was given in marriage by her father, wore a waltz length gown
of white faille, designed with a basque bodice, kimono sleeves and
scoop neckline. She wore a finger tip veil that was secured to a
wide band of iridescent sequins and pearls. She carried a cascade
bouquet of white roses and sprays of ivy.
Her only
attendant was her sister, Deanne. She wore a similarly styled gown
of melon faille with cap sleeves. In her hair, she wore white
feather ear clips and carried an all white, heart shaped nosegay of
carnations.
Attending
the groom as best man was a friend, Joseph Retterath, of
Stetsonville.
For her
daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Fleischman chose a dress of dusty
pink net and wore a corsage of pink garnet roses and white
carnations. Red garnet roses and white carnations accented the navy
blue dress which Mrs. Zastrow wore.
Following
the ceremony, a dinner was served at the Zastrow home to the
immediate families. A reception was held in the afternoon and
buffet supper served.
Mr. and Mrs. Zastrow are making their home in Abbotsford where Mr. Zastrow is manager of the Northern Auto Supply. The bride has been employed the past year and a half by the General Telephone Company at Marshfield. Both young people are graduates of the Medford High School.
