Emling, Julia (13 Jan. 1892 - 23 Mar. 1958) 
 

Mrs. Charles Emling, 66, a former resident, died at Lake Forest, Ill., Sunday. The body was brought to Loyal where funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:00 o’clock in the Trinity Lutheran church, followed by internment in the Loyal cemetery. 
 

Julia Olsen was born at Abbotsford Jan. 13, 1892, and was educated in the Abbotsford schools. She was employed in the Farmers’ Store here until her marriage to Charles Emling at Abbotsford, Sept. 2, 1920. After living here about five years, they moved to Loyal and for about the past three years they lived at Lake Forest, Ill. 
 

Mrs. Emling had been ill with a heart condition and died at a hospital at Lake Forest, Sunday afternoon. 
 

She is survived by a son, Laverne, of Loyal; and two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Ila Mae) Nitz, Stanley; and Mrs. Mendus (Marion) Western, Troy Center. There are eight grand children. 
 

Also surviving are two sisters, Miss Laura Olsen, Abbotsford; and Mrs. Ed (Edith) Feit, of Unity.
