Lukowicz, Ida (30 Sept. 1882 - 13 May 1958) 
 

Mrs. Ida Lukowicz, 75, of Colby, died of a heart attack early Tuesday morning. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:30 at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Colby, and a general rosary service will be held Thursday evening at 9:00 p.m. at the Lulloff Funeral Home. 
 

Mr. and Mrs. Leo Lukowicz, the former Ida Gierl, operated the Lukowicz photo studio in Colby until his death in 1928 when she took over the management until 1947. Her son, Leo, now operates the business. 
 

Surviving her are two sons and two daughters, four grand children and one great grand child. Two brothers and three sisters also survive. A brother, Killian Gierl, preceded her in death a week ago.
