Mr. and Mrs.
Bob Schraufnagel, Los Angeles, Cal., are on a three weeks’
vacation, which they are spending with his mother, Mrs. Alice
Schraufnagel, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Lieders. They
came Tuesday of last week and on Thursday drove to St. Paul to get
her sister, Dolores, who was here until Sunday, when she went back
to St. Paul with her uncle, Walter Fussner. Mrs. Fussner is here on
a two weeks’ vacation.
Mr. and Mrs.
Norbert Buss and three children will return to their home at
Libertyville, Ill., Sunday. They are on a two weeks’ vacation
here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Bobbe, and brothers,
Howard and Darrel.
Harry Lapp,
who is employed at West Salem and Donald Lapp, Chicago, spent the
week end of the Fourth at their home here.
George
Kutcher, Mrs. Mabel Luis and Mrs. Delia Becker, of Marshfield,
visited at the Clayton Afkend home, Tuesday
afternoon.
Mrs. Frank
Pautz and daughters spent Monday afternoon in
Wausau.
A gathering
of all the family of Mr. and Mrs. William Fahrenbach was held at
Curtiss, Sunday, of last week. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Orville
Lieders, Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Schraufnagel and Mr. and Mrs. William
Fahrenbach of Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Paul White and sons,
Montgomery, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fussner of St. Paul; Mr. and
Mrs. Herbert Fahrenbach, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Witt and Mrs. Margaret
Wredman, of Curtiss, Wisconsin.
Miss Betty
Laack is spending her vacation at Stockton, Cal., at the home of
her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Galen Laack, and
sister, Nancy.
Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Havlinek, Two Rivers, came Thursday afternoon and visited
their aunt, Mrs. Julia Reis, and Mr. and Mrs. George Calmes, until
Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Fred Machlett, Miss Anna B. Hanson and Mrs. Ole Hanson were luncheon guests at the Frank Mathias home at Curtiss Saturday.
