Uhlig,
Annette (Marriage - 12 July 1958)
July 12 was
chosen as the wedding day for Miss Annette Uhlig and Dale Ellison
and the lawn at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Uhlig,
Dorchester, was the setting. The marriage vows were read by Arnold
Ruprich, at 1:30.
Parents of
the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ellison, of
Westboro.
Mrs. Louise
Hartl provided the wedding music by playing the traditional wedding
march and accompanying Miss Elsie Bush, who sang.
Lace over
taffeta styled the bride’s white gown. Roses were mingled
with ivy in her crescent bouquet.
The
bride’s sister, Miss Elaine Uhlig, was maid of honor, with
sisters of the groom, the Misses Phyllis and Eileen Ellison, as
bridesmaids. Black net over taffeta comprised their waltz-length
gowns and they carried red roses placed on white lace
fans.
Jim Ellison
was best man, with Delbert Uhlig, the bride’s brother, and
Arlyn Klemetson as groomsman. Ushering were Roy Smock, Don Wood,
and Bob Ruprich.
A reception and supper were held on the lawn after which the couple left for their honeymoon in New York City. The groom, a graduate of Westboro high school, is engaged in road construction. The bride is a graduate of Abbotsford high school. They will live near Milwaukee.
