Smith, Nellie Mae (3 September 1876 - 9 December 1954) 
 

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, December 11, 1954, for Mrs. Nellie Mae Smith, 78, of Route 2, Marshfield, who died the morning of December 9, at the Memorial Hospital.  
 

Nellie Smith, nee Small, was born September 3, 1876, at Valton, Wis.  She received her education in the schools of the town and was married to William Smith on April 10, 1904, at Valton.  They lived in Valton until 1929 when they moved to the Lindsey area.  
 

Mr. Smith died in 1948.  She is survived by a foster son, Robert, with whom she has made her home. 
 

The body was in charge of the Bergemann Funeral Home and the Rev. Virgil Nulton officiated.  Interment was made at Valton, Wis.
