Anderson, Esther (24 July 1895 - 28 Sept. 1958) 
 

Mrs. Clarence E. Anderson, 63, died at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, after an illness of several months. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Zion Lutheran church, Colby, with the Rev. William Christian officiating. Burial was made in the Colby cemetery.  
 

Mrs. Anderson was born Esther Outcelt, July 24, 1895, in Genoa, Wis. On Feb. 28, 1920, she was married at Greenwood to Clarence Anderson. They lived there four years, then moved to a farm near Colby.  
 

Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Knaack-Thompson Post No. 865 and was president at the time of her death.  
 

She is survived by her husband, one son, Ray, Abbotsford, and one daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Nora) Schultz, of Schofield. There are five grand children.  
 

 One sister, Mrs. Louise Wilson, of Miami, and one brother, George Outcelt, of La Crosse, also survive.
