Mrs. Ralph
Green, Bluffton, Indiana, died Oct. 12, after an illness of two
months. Internment was made there, Tuesday, following services at
the Thoma Funeral Home.
Mrs. Green
was born Alma J. Neitzel, Dec. 6, 1889, at Prentice. Her marriage
to Ralph Green took place at Waupaca June 16, 1915. For a number of
years, they operated a general store at Curtiss and then came to
Abbotsford and started a variety store.
Fifteen
years ago, they moved to Bluffton. Mrs. Green retained her
membership in the Abbotsford chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
She was a member of the Bluffton Past Matron’s Club and of
the Presbyterian church.
Surviving
are her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Lila)
Mittlestadt, of Bluffton, Mrs. Albert (Jeanette) Goldhamer, of
Milwaukee, and Mrs. Frances (Shirley) N. Lovett, Jr., of
Cincinnati. There are seven grand children.
She also
leaves a brother, Lawrence Neitzel, of Abbotsford, and three
sisters, Mrs. Otto Bublitz, Owen; Mrs. Albert Kuehling, Stockton,
Calif.; and Mrs. Mabel Hanson, Park Falls.
A brother, Emery, of Abbotsford, preceded her in death.
