Martin H. (1898? - 14 Dec. 1958)
Funeral
services for Martin H. Parsons, 60, who died Sunday afternoon at
Wisconsin General hospital, Madison, following surgery for brain
tumor, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at St.
Peter’s Lutheran church, Dorchester. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler
officiated. Internment was made in the Dorchester
cemetery.
Mr. Parsons
was a skilled cheese maker and for 13 years served as
secretary-treasurer of the Central Wisconsin Cheesemakers and
Buttermakers Association and was president for two years. At the
time of his death, he was director of the Wisconsin Cheesemakers
Association, a member and officer of the Lutheran Men’s Club,
and the Lions Club at Dorchester.
He lived for
31 years in the town of Holton in Clark county, where he operated
the Cloverdale Cheese Factory. For 12 years he served as a school
board member.
He is survived by his widow, two daughters, five brothers, and two sisters.
