County News

Longwood, Wisconsin

Some changes have taken place since our last writing.

Our landlord, Mr. Smith, has moved to Withee and Mr. Farewell is running the hotel.

The Longwood creamery has shut down and Mr. Tucker the butter maker, has moved away.

Mrs. C. Benson returned from Chicago Sunday the 11th.

The woman's society of the N. E. L. church met with Mrs. J. Sorenson Friday the 16th. Our next meeting will be at H. H. Jorstad's Friday, Dec. 7.

Ole Jorgenson suffered the loss of his oldest horse last week.

Tomorrow the deer ought to be glad as today is the last day of our driving them this season.

A surprise party took place at J. Sorenson's Sunday evening in honor of his father's eight-fourth birthday. A collection was taken and given to the surprised old gentleman.

Maud Mead is on the sick list.
