Pleasant Ridge
Ned King returned from his trip to Minnesota last Thursday. He reports a very enjoyable visit with his brother and family.
Mr. Steinerwald came up from the southern part of the state yesterday morning, to visit with his daughter, Mrs. Arniel Jahr. He will also spend some time with sons located near Spokeville.
Richard Selves jumped onto a spike Friday night, driving it nearly through his foot. Blood poisoning set in immediately and Dr. Conroy was called. He pronounced it an ugly wound, but thought with proper care, that the foot could be saved.
Rev. Trimm, presiding elder of this district, occupied the pulpit at the Ridge Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Lon Huckstead, will unite with H. O. Huckstead and wife, in entertaining the young people of the Sunday School, at the home of the latter, on Thanksgiving afternoon and evening. The young people will prepare a suitable program for the occasion.
