County News

 

Hemlock, Wisconsin 

 

Mrs. K. Anderson who has been a guest at the Commercial House the past six weeks spent Sunday at home.

 

Maude Varney gives a party Wednesday evening the 21st to her friends, it being her birthday.

 

Jos. Nesbit was seen in town Saturday.

 

Mrs. Campbell of Neillsville, and Mrs. Clark of Rhinelander visited a few days with Mrs. Dewey last week.

 

Jos. Flower found four more of his missing calves. There is one gone yet, a little Jersey heifer.

 

Lynn Jaseph closes a very successful term of school here Friday.

 

Chas. Limprect was down from Medford the last of the week.

 

Mesdames White and Hendren were the guests of Mrs. Dewey Saturday.

 

Chas Varney is doing a job of plastering for Henry LaGault near Longwood.

 

Ed. Einfeldt gave a graphaphone entertainment Monday evening in the town hall. There was not a very big crowd out, on account of the sleet storm.
