Miske, Hugo (1895? - 13 JAN 1955)

 

Hugo Miske, 59, died at his home in Detroit, Mich., Thursday morning, Jan. 13, 1955.  He was born and raised at Augusta, Wis., graduated from Augusta High School, served in World War I, and has been a resident of Detroit for more than 20 years.

 

He is survived by his wife, two sons, Phillip and Robert; his mother, Mrs. Bertha Miske of Augusta, and one brother, Richard of Racine.

 

After funeral services in Detroit, the body was brought to Augusta, and services were held at the Sipe funeral Home Monday, Jan. 17, with the Rev. William B. Warner officiating.  Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Spondly Post of the American Legion.

 

The deceased was the husband of Edna Peeples, who, prior to her marriage, resided in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).
