Neillsville, Brownies have outing (18 July
1949)
The
Brownie girl scouts had an outing at Rock Dam last Thursday.
The outing was under the leadership of Mrs. Harley Seif and Mrs.
Allan Covell. The trip was made in a forestry department
truck.
The
program included two swimming periods, a picnic dinner, a rest
hour, hikes, boat rides, and a wiener roast.
Mrs. M. V. Overman, Mrs. Lowell Schoengarth and
Mrs. J. G. Sliter supervised the swimming, play periods and the
rest hour.
The
outing was made possible by the Community Chest, the Neillsville
Fire Department and the County Forestry Department.
Following is a list of the girls who went: Sarah Albrecht, Dixie Bush, Winifred Bruhn, Charlotte Covell, Judy Daft, Ardyth and Diane Epding, Mona Hoesly, Nancy Holt, Kathleen Clumpner, Cheryl Mabie, Joan Meinholdt, Jean and Ruth Moffatt, Kay Overman, Vivian Randall, Clara Sherwood, Judy Sliter, Irma Stucki, Marilyn Wildish, Caroline Moser, Eileen Zank, Bobbie Russell and Carol Rosenberg.
