Kronberger, Betty Lou  (28 SEPT 1946)

Miss Betty Lou Kronberger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kronberger of route four, Neillsville, and John Pabish Jr., son of George Pabish Sr. of Greenwood and Mrs. Ella Pabish of Beaver Dam, were married at 9 a.m. on Sept. 28, at Sacred Heart church in Withee. The Rev. Francis Brockman performed the double ring ceremony before a flower decorated altar. Music was rendered by the church choir.

The bride, maid of honor and bridesmaid were all gowned in white. Miss Kronberger’s dress was white taffeta, with embroidered net overskirt and train. Her embroidered finger-length veil was caught to a beaded tiara. Her flowers were American Beauty roses, white lilies and mums, and accessories were white.

Miss Connie Lewandowski of Thorp, a cousin of the groom served as maid of honor, and Margie Kolb of Wausau was bridesmaid. Both carried bouquets of American Beauty roses and ferns.

The room’s attendants were his brothers, Francis Pabish of Beaver Dam and Ray Pabish of Greenwood.

Dinner was served to 50 guests at the groom’s home, which was decorated with pink and white streamers, three white wedding bells, and autumn flowers. The wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom, was made by the bride’s grandmother, Mrs. William Benedict,

A reception was held in the afternoon, with 100 guests in attendance, and in the evening a dance was given at Merry Ol’ Gardens.

The bride attended Loyal high school and the groom St. Mary’s Catholic school in Greenwood.

Following a wedding trip to southern states, Mr. and Mrs. Pabish will be at home to their friends on his farm, four miles north of Greenwood.

Those from away who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Roland Prior of Albany, Mo.; Sgt. Ivan Kronberger of Camp Campbell, Ky., and Mrs. Susie Lewanddowski and family and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pabish of Thorp.

The Loyal Tribune extends to the young couple its wishes for happiness.
