Miss Phyllis Cecil Goodell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Goodell of route one, Loyal, became the bride of Paul Lester Sill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sill of Colby, in a wedding service read by the Rev. O. Hoffman in the parsonage of the Zion Lutheran church at Colby at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.

Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Horan of Neillsville.

The bride wore a gray wool suit, flesh-colored colat (coat?) and scarf, and an over-the- shoulder black purse. Mrs. Horan, a cousin of the bride, was attired in a powder blue suit, black sequin cap, and carried a copper colored purse. Their corsages were white pompoms and pink roses.

Following the ceremony, relatives and friends were entertained at a buffet supper at the Goodell home.

Both living room and dining room ceilings were canopied by streamers of white, pink, aqua and yellow, with wedding bells suspended by aqua streamers and the joining archway was similarly decorated.

A large wedding cake, topped with a miniature bride and groom, centered the table, while flowers and candles added to its attractiveness.

A wedding dance and shower was given on Sunday evening, Oct. 6, at the Little Club, with music by Art Lucht.

The bride attended the Spencer high school, and her husband attended the Colby high school.

 They will reside on highway 98, three and a half miles west of Spencer, and are now at home to their friends there.

Guests from away were: Mr. and Mrs. Howard Beardmore and son, Dale, of Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Baumgart, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Prange and Mr. and Mrs. E. Roy Augustine of Unity; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Goodell of Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Art Rosensdahl of La Crosse; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Young and family of Auburndale; and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Strub and family of Arpin.

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
