Henninger, "Nita"  (25 OCT 1946)

The Citizen Bank Community room was the scene of a reception Saturday evening , Oct 26, given by relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Henninger, who were married at 8 o’clock Friday evening in the Buena Presbyterian church in Chicago, Dr. Stone officiating.

They were attended by Carrol Henninger, sister of the bride, and Lewis Henninger, brother of the groom. Mrs. Henninger is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. Henninger and is known as "Nita" to her many Loyal  friends. She is a graduate of the Loyal high school and since graduation has had employment in Chicago.

Her marriage is a sequel of a romance which started when a letter she had written to her soldier brother, Harlow Henninger, fell into the hands of another soldier, having the same name but no relation. A correspondence ensued, leading to an acquaintance and marriagre.

Mr. Henninger is an Oaks (N. D.) boy, who operates a large ranch, on which he raises beef cattle and wheat. It is there he has taken his bride.

Thise from out of town attending the reception were Mr. and Mrs. O. Henninger of Lubin, Mrs. Phil Weller of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Harlow Henninger of Sheboygan Falls, Miss Carrol Henninger of Chicago, Lewis Henninger of Oaks, N. D., Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Henninger and family of Chili, and Mrs, C. Henninger of Granton.

The bride is a granddaughter of Mrs. Fanny Smith and a niece of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Smith of Loyal.

The Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through

life.
