Barrett, Frederick E. (5 NOV 1909 - 21 APR 1955)
Frederick E. Barrett, 45, of Greenville, Mich., passed away at the Blodgett Memorial Hospital at Grand Rapids, Mich., at 11:55 p.m., April 21, 1955. He had been in ill health for the past seven months.
The deceased was born in Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., on Nov. 5, 1909, the son of William E. Barrett and the late Nettie Barrett. He married Helen Bissel of Greenville, Mich. In Feb. 1946.
He was employed as city mail carrier at Greenville and was a member of Ray I. Booth American Legion Post No. 101.
Surviving him are his wife of 6632 N. LaFayette Rd., his father, Wm. E. Barrett, and a sister, Dorothy of Thorp, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted by S. C. Parsons, D.D., at the Hoffman Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 25th, and interment took place in Lakeview Cemetery at Lakeview, Mich.
