Teclaw, Leon (11 MAR 1927 - 1 JUN 1955)

 

Burial services will be conducted by Rev. Francis Piekarski at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church at Thorp on Saturday morning, June 4th at 10 a.m. for Leon Teclaw.

 

Leon passed away at 8:00 a.m. of leukemia after ailing for the past year.

 

A military escort of members of the Thorp American Legion Post will accompany the casket from the Thorp Funeral Home to the church and then to the grave where the post will hold military rites.

 

Commander Don Osborne request all legion members and ex-servicemen to meet at the Legion Hall at 9:00 a.m. to assist in the rites.  Please wear uniforms or legion caps if possible.

 

Leon Teclaw served with the U. S. Army Air Corps.  He is survived by his wife Pearl and two children Cathy and Kenneth, mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Teclaw and seven brothers and three sisters.
