Curtiss, Wisconsin

 

Mrs. J. L. Lavigne of Colby, visited friends here Wednesday.

 

Freda Miller returned from Marshfield Monday.

 

Jno. Olsen went to Eau Claire Tuesday to have his eyes operated on.

 

Matt Lee went to Medford Friday.

 

Thorvald Locken departed for La Crosse Friday, where he will visit for a short time and then leave for the coast.

 

Frank Matthias returned from Chippewa Falls Friday.

 

Fred Olsen, who has been sick for two weeks, is able to be around again.

 

Mr. Slogy of Poynette, who has been visiting Dr. Holiday, returned home Friday.

 

Andrew Olsen is on the sick list again.

 

Wm Manthey went To Boyd on business Monday.

 

Wm Mars was in Dorchester on business Friday.

 

Geo. Johnson, who was struck by a switch engine at Stockton several days ago, is able to get out and will soon be able to resume work.

 

Nick Machlett drove to Chili last week.

 

The lath mill is running under the supervision of Abe Swan.

 

S. M. Armstrong of Ashland, was here on business Thursday.

 

Jas. Anderson has returned from Waupaca.

 

H. S. Eidridge went to Stevens Point on business Monday.

 

Jake Jacobson is in Ogdensburg on business.

 

Albert Eschwig and family are visiting in Colby.

 

Ole Johnson is home from Stockton, where he has been cooking for the R. R. Co.

 

J. C. Daniels moved his family and household goods to Abbotsford Monday, and will make that place his future home.

 

J. S. Tarbell and family left for Ashland, Oregon, Tuesday.

 

Mrs. Fred Machlett is visiting friends in Withee.

 

Mrs. Folmer went to Butternut Monday.
