G. B. Andrews and wife were at Greenwood Monday night at the birthday party of G. C. Andrews. It is the 70th birthday of Mr. Andrews.
Charley Jensen got his hand cut quite badly on the edger at Carlin's mill Tuesday.
John Bryden registered at the Longwood House Tuesday.
M. W. Carlon has purchased a new driver to mate the one he raised. This will give Mr. Carlon one of the finest driving teams in the country.
L. H. Johnson of Minneapolis has a crew at work putting up an iron bridge two miles west of this place across Black river. It will be a great convenience for Longwood and the people west of the river.
Martin Anderson and John Aiken called on Longwood friends Monday.
Lars Jorgenson, Carl Benson, H. H. Jorstad, Julius Sorenson and Nels Sorenson were at the county seat last week taking out their second papers.
Mrs. Oletta Hanson, who has been visiting in Eau Claire for the last two weeks, returned home Sunday last.
Those attending the masquerade at the Town hall Saturday night report a good time.
