Webb, Arnold Franklin (9 Oct. 1923 - 9 December
2009) With Flag
Arnold Franklin Webb, 86, of Stoughton/Madison
passed away Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009.
He
was born Oct. 9, 1923, in Stoughton, the son of Arthur and Helga
(Hanson) Webb. Arnold served in the U. S. Army during World
War II. He married Delores Scheel April 9, 1947, at St.
Raphael’s in Madison. Arnold worked as a farmer and as
a construction worker for F. P. T. Construction. He was a
life member of VFW Post No. 328.
Arnold is survived by his wife, Delores;
daughter, Edray (Larry) McDonald; son, Richard; daughter-in-law,
Bernice Webb; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a
brother, Morris (Virginia); and a sister, Wilma (Howard)
Holloday.
He
was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Alan; two brothers,
Oliver and DuWayne; and a great-grandson, Dave
Scott.
A
memorial service was held at Gunderson Stoughton Funeral Home,
Highway 51 N. at Jackson St. Stoughton, at 11:30 a.m. Saturday,
Dec. 12, 2009, with a pass in review conducted by the Stoughton VFW
Post No. 328 prior to the service. Visitation was at the
funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of
service.
The Gunderson Stoughton Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
