Betz, Della (30 March 1881 - 17 January 1955) 
 

Mrs. William (Della) Betz, age 73, of Rice lake, Wis., died Monday, January 17, 1955, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Rice Lake.  Cause of death was a heart ailment. 
 

The body, in charge of the Bergemann Funeral Home was brought to Neillsville, where services were held Thursday morning January 20, from St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  The Rev. Fr. Joseph Maciulaitis, assistant pastor, officiated.  Burial was in the parish cemetery. 
 

Mrs. Betz was born March 30, 1881, at Glenwood City, Wis., to Jacob and Margaret (Litzen) Schiller. When a small child she came with her parents to Neillsville, where she received her education.  Mrs. Betz was employed in the Balch and Heath Clothing store until her marriage to William Betz on October 12, 1905, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville.  They made their home in Neillsville, where her husband worked as a butcher.  Following the death of her husband in 1937 she made her home with her two daughters in Rice Lake. 
 

Surviving her are the following children: John of Neillsville; Frank of Janesville; Mrs. Paul (Helen) Spaete, Rice Lake; Mrs. Magnus (Rose) Henrich, also of Rice Lake.
