Washington D.C. Jan. 18 - Francis J. Conway, President, Thorp Finance Corporation, Thorp, Wisconsin, and Vice President, American Industrial Bankers Association, was one of the joint hosts at a dinner tonight in the Cabinet room of the Willard Hotel, given by officials of the association for members of the senate banking and currency committee; senior members of the house banking and currency committee, governors of the federal reserve system, directors and chief officials of federal deposit insurance corporation, and other federal officials. 
 

The ten men in the association group, from widely scattered cities, were luncheon guests this noon of the FDIC directors.  They will be the guests tomorrow of the governors of the Federal Reserve System.
