Holub, Shirley (Marriage - 2 April
1955)
Shirley Holub, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
Holub of Neillsville, and Arthur Aldrich, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy
Aldrich of Augusta, were married Saturday April 2, 1955, at 2:00
p.m. at the Neillsville Methodist Church. The Rev. Virgil
Nulton, pastor of the church, performed the double ring ceremony at
2:00 p.m.
The
bride wore a light blue-gray suit with a corsage of baby red roses
attached to her shoulder.
Glenda Mitchell of Neillsville attended as
bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Roy Grassman of
Lynn.
Approximately 75 guests attended the reception
held at the Fred Mc Carty home in the Town of
Levis.
The
new Mr. and Mrs. Aldrich are spending their honeymoon in the
southern part of the state.
Those attending the wedding from away were: Mr. and Mr. Donald Aldrich, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. William Aldrich, Mrs. Roy Aldrich, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Brantner, all of Augusta; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bolling, Osseo; Mr. and Mrs. R. V. Wilcox, Eau Clarie; and Mr. and Mrs. Lavern John, Alma Center.
