Anderson, Joshua James (20 September 1988 - 23
December 2009)
Joshua J. Anderson, age 21, of Thorp, died on
Wednesday, December 23, 2009, from injuries sustained in an
automobile accident.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on
Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig’s
Catholic Church, in Thorp, with Rev. Keith Apfelbeck
officiating. Visitation was held at Thorp Funeral Home on
Monday, December 28, 2009, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m.
Rosary service, and also at the church, on Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m.
until time of service.
Joshua James Anderson was born on September 20,
1988 in Stanley, WI, the son of Tim and Theresa (Taylor)
Anderson. He was raised and received his education in Thorp,
graduating from Thorp High School in 2007. After his graduation,
Josh worked for All Automotive, in Thorp, as a
mechanic.
Josh’s many interests and hobbies included:
playing football, ice racing, toy cars, 4-wheeling, horses,
hunting, drawing, making up songs, mud-bogging, shining deer,
hanging out with friends, fixing vehicles, camping, swimming,
boating, participating in demo derbies and the Eve of Destruction
at Marshfield Speedway, and playing pool.
He
was a caring and compassionate person who loved to make everyone
laugh. Josh was "THE" all-around jokester and loved to spend
time with his dog Koda.
He
was a member of Team X-tream #6.
Josh will be dearly missed by his father, Tim
Anderson, of Thorp; his mother, Theresa Anderson (Carol
Kaszubowski) of Thorp; two sisters: Amanda and Samantha Anderson,
both of Thorp; his special niece, Calli Lynn Tomkowiak; his best
friend and sweetheart, Chelsea Buss of Thorp; his maternal
grandparents: LaVern and Norma Fasbender of Thorp; special friends:
Kenny, Sadie, R. J., David Buss and Penny (Rob) Nelson; several
aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He
was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jim and Rose
Anderson; his Aunt Patty LaMarche; his Uncle James "Tubby"
Anderson, Jr.; and great-grandparents, Hubert Hodges and George
(Jane) Sellers.
