Brandt, Marion (1955)
Marion Brandt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C.
Brandt of Neillsville, will be married in midsummer to Otto Schenk,
Mr., who is about to graduate at New Ulm, Minn. The young man
has been assigned to begin his teaching career at Stanton,
Nebraska, where Mr. Brandt was born.
The
Brandts will attend the graduation exercises at New Ulm, and will
have with them the parents of the young graduate, Mr. and Mrs. Otto
Schenk, Sr.
The Brandts got as far as Mobridge, S. Dakota, in their recent western vacation drive. They met there a friend whom John Brandt had not seen for 45 years. He is Prof. R. Fenske, President of the Northwestern Lutheran academy at Mobridge.
