A measure sociable was held here last Wednesday evening.
W. H. Butler, who for a number of years conducted a general mercantile store here, has sold it to a gentleman by the name of Londenbach, who has taken possession of the same.
Christmas is rapidly approaching and P. J. Kemmeter is the headquarters for Santa Claus.
Mr. Schwartz has opened up a blacksmith shop here. This make four now for Granton. Also another meat market has been established here.
P.J. Kemmeter is ready for your basswood bolts.
E. A. Beeckler will not move is saw mill away from here as was anticipated. We understand that Mr. Hollister will stock it this winter.
Myron Wheelock visited his grandparents in Loyal township last week.
A number of our boys have gone to Lindsay to work for D. W. Davis.
The young people have been having a turn at skating.
