Pleasant Ridge
Oscar Counsell returned from Hillside Saturday, leaving Mr. Short much improved.
Alvin Gerhardt spent the past week visiting his brother, Wm Gerhardt, and renewed the acquaintance of many old friends.
The Christmas entertainment has been given up on account of so much sickness in the neighborhood.
Frank Vine returned to Greenwood Friday.
Mrs. Wm. Gerhardt still remains very sick.
Fred Vine and wife rejoice over the coming of a son. Congratulations.
School closes Friday in the Reed district for a two weeks' vacation.
Ed Einfeldt was a caller on the Ridge Tuesday. He is still "courting."
Fred Drescher, from the southern part of the state, visited on the Ridge last week.
Mrs. James Billings is very sick at the present writing.
