Koci, Frank Joseph (11 August 1944 - 7 August 1955) 
 

Frank Joseph Koci, 10, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Koci of Greenwood, died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where he had been receiving treatment for tetanus since July 31. 
 

He received a leg injury a week before hospitalization. The funeral will be held Thursday, August 11, at 9 a.m. from St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  The Rev. Edward Hartung will officiate.  Burial will be made in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  The body will repose at the Hill Funeral Home, where rosary services were to be held the evening previous to the funeral. 
 

Frank, who was in the fifth grade in St. Mary’s school, was born August 11, 1944, in Milwaukee. In 1946 he moved with his parents to Loyal, and came to Greenwood five years ago. 
 

Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers, Pvt. Robert Koci of the army, stationed in Germany, and James Koci of Milwaukee; and Miss Carolyn Koci at home; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kroupa of Carrollville, his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Koci, Sr., of Phillips.
