Funeral services were conducted August 5, for
Mrs. Forrest (Marie) Brown who died August 2 at Deaconess Hospital
in Minneapolis, she was a patient there for eight
days.
Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
The Rev. Frank Harcey and Carmi Chapter No. 60, O. E. S. of
Neillsville were in charge. Dr. Sarah Rosekrans accompanied
by Mr. Marie Covell, sang several selections.
Mrs. Brown was born at Campbellsport to Orson and
Elizabeth (Kissinger) Raymond. She received her education in
the schools at Campbellsport and at Lawrence College,
Appleton. She was active in church affairs. Her
marriage to Forrest Brown took place October 9, 1907 at
Neillsville.
She
is survived by her husband, and a brother, Dr. Rollie G. Raymond,
of Brownsville.
Pallbearers were: Herman North, Oscar W.
Schoengarth, Adolph Unger, Dr. J. H. Brooks, Wm. A. Campman and
William L. Smith.
Mrs. Brown was a member of the Lorraine Chapter, O. E. S., of Minneapolis, and of Temple Baptist Church in that city.
