Noll, Elizabeth (12 September 1872 - 21 September
1955)
Mrs. Elizabeth Noll, age 83, a resident of Clark
County since 1911, died September 21, 1955, at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Otto Hainzlsperger, 207 W. 15th Street,
Neillsville. Death was attributed to old age
complications.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning from
St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Fr. Peter J.
Leketas offered the Requiem Mass. Interment was in the parish
cemetery.
A
general rosary service was held Friday evening at the Bergemann
Funeral Home, where the body reposed until time of
services.
Mrs. Noll was born September 12, 1872, in
Ashford, Fond du Lac County, to Lawrence and Katherine (Schue)
Kohler. She received her education in the schools of Fond du
Lac County and in 1889 went to Milwaukee. There she worked
until her marriage to John Henry Noll in July 1893. They
resided in Milwaukee until 1911, when they moved to Clark County
and located on a farm west of Neillsville. They moved to
Neillsville in 1937. Mr. Noll died October 13,
1952.
She
was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and its Christian
Mothers Society, which attended the funeral services in a
body.
She
is survived by six sons - Ray of Neillsville, Harry of Phelps, John
of Stevens Point, George of Wisconsin Rapids, Frank of Redfield, S.
D. and Arnold of Granton; three daughters also survive - Mrs. Otto
(Alma) Hainzlsperger of Neillsville, Mrs. John (Stella)
Hainzlsperger of Unity, Mrs. Peter (Viola) Johannson of LaFayette,
Ind.; 35 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. Other
survivors are a brother, Paul Kohler of Campbellsport and a sister,
Mrs. Louise Mack of Milwaukee.
She
was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters and seven
brothers.
Mrs. Noll’s six sons served as
pallbearers. They were Harry, John, Frank, Ray, Arnold and
George Noll.
