Marg, Ellen (Marriage - 5 November 1955) 
 

A home at 1204 South Maple St. Marshfield awaits Gary Witt and his bride, the former Ellen Marg.  They were married Saturday, November 5, at the St. John’s Lutheran Church by the Rev. Alfred Schewe.  A wedding reception followed at the home of the bride’s parents in the Town of Pine Valley. 
 

Parents of the young couple are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marg of Rt. 3, Neillsville and Mrs. Kathryn Witt of Marshfield. 
 

White satin formed the bride’s gown which was fashioned with a train.  A pearl orange blossom headpiece held her shoulder length veil. She carried red roses on a white prayer book. 
 

Mrs. Larry Carlson of Menominee, Mich. served her sister as matron of honor. 
 

Orville Weber of Marshfield, a friend of the groom, attended him as best man.  Ushers were Verlon Marg and Dennis Hastings. 
 

The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School and is employed at the Sweet Shop in Marshfield.  The groom was graduated from the Marshfield High School and has employment with the Thomsen Abbott Construction Co. of Marshfield.
