Kirn, Mary (17 March 1861 - 30 November
1955)
Mrs. Mary Kirn, 74, a resident of the
Willard area for more than 40 years, died at noon Wednesday,
November 30, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
The former Mary Mencin was born in Yugoslavia March 17, 1881. Following her marriage there to John Kirn, the couple came to the United States in 1905 and lived at Yale, Kans., until 1914. They then moved to a farm near Willard. Mr. Kirn died June 22, 1953. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and the Slovenian National Benefit Society.
