Rizner, Mr. and Mrs. Mike (Golden
Anniversary - 2 December 1955)
Mr. and Mrs. William Rizner and family,
Mr. and Mrs. Art Meiers and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ragnar Mortenson,
Mr. and Mrs. James Kalas, and Mrs. Art Meiers and son helped Mr.
and Mrs. Mike Rizner celebrate their fiftieth wedding anniversary
at their home Sunday.
Mike Rizner and Rose Kalas, sister of
James Kalas and Mrs. Ragnar Mortenson, were married at Chicago on
December 2, 1905. To this union eight children were
born.
Due to the bad roads and wintry weather
only two of their children, William Rizner and Mrs. Art Meiers,
were able to help them celebrate.
Those unable to attend were: Anton, Emil and families, and Miss Albie Rizner, all of Chicago, George and Frank and family, Milwaukee, and Ed and family of Tomah.
