Osgood, Bessie (10 August 1891 - 10 December 1955) 
 

Mrs. Bessie Osgood died December 10 in Galveston, Tex.  She will be buried Thursday in Windfall Cemetery. 
 

Bessie Osgood was born August 10, 1891 in the Town of Grant.  She received her education in the rural schools.  She became united in marriage to Mott Osgood on April 23, 1908.  To this union six children were born.  Her husband preceded her in death in July 1952. 
 

She had made her home in Racine the past years. At the time of her death, December 10, she was visiting her daughter in Gertrude in Galveston, Tex. 
 

She is survived by two sons and four daughters, namely, Al Osgood, Citrus Heights, Calif.; Ross Osgood, Mrs. Tim (Hope) Tobin, Racine; Mrs. Gertrude Farmer, Galveston, Tex.; Mrs. Fred (Fay) Lund, Racine; Mrs. Clyde (Beatrice) Oens, Neillsville; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lois Cooney, Waukegan, Ill.; one brother, Andrew Mason, Delavan; and several nieces and nephews. 
 

Funeral services will be at 2 o’clock Thursday from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton. Burial will be in the Windfall Cemetery.
