Reinke, Lee (6 DEC 1931 - 31 JUL 1955)

 

Funeral services for Lee Reinke, 23, will be held at 2 p.m. at the Congregational Church at Owen with the Rev. Robert Olson, Thorp, and the Rev. Ralph Claybaugh officiating.  Burial will take place in Black River Cemetery.

 

His death occurred at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley, after a lingering illness.

 

Reinke was born Dec. 6, 1931 in Gillett, and received his education in the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) Graded and High School.  He was employed as a dairy worker and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Thorp.

 

On Sept. 16, 1950 he was married to Donna Mae Dempsey of Owen at the Lutheran Parsonage in Thorp.

 

Besides his wife, Reinke leaves three children, Vickie Leigh, Gary and Thomas, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Reinke, Thorp; a brother, Walter Reinke, Jr., Medford; three sisters, Mrs. Pierce (Carol) Owens, Withee, and Nancy and Ruth Reinke, both of Thorp.

 

Friends may call at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home in Owen, where the body is lying in state.
