Neeb, Oscar (Accident - 1 May
1956)
Oscar Neeb, Loyal farmer, was injured
shortly after noon Tuesday when the farm tractor he was driving was
struck broadside by an automobile driven by August Podobnik, also
of Loyal.
The extent or seriousness of Mr.
Neeb’s injuries was not known here Wednesday morning.
He was given first aid treatment at the scene by a Loyal physician,
and then was removed to a Marshfield hospital.
According to Traffic Officer Richard V.
Giese, Mr. Neeb was driving his tractor across County Trunk K,
about four miles north of Loyal, when the accident took
place. The Podobnik car was traveling northward.
The front of the car was badly damaged, and the tractor was completely wrecked, the officer reported.
