Miss Shirley Stigen and Gary Northup

Saturday at the Pine Valley Lutheran Church. A double ring
ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. P. Fohe, pastor of the
Trinity Lutheran Church of Loyal.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. Stigen of

dress. A scalloped neckline enhanced the tight fitting
bodice. The yoke of the dress was of embroidered nylon net,
trimmed with sequins, and with long sleeves coming to a point at
the wrist. The skirt was fashioned of nylon net and imported
embroidered lace ruffles, which ended in a train. Her
fingertip veil fell from nylon net and lace crown stuffed with
sequins and seed pearls.
A sister of the groom, Miss Gloria
Northup, attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids
were Mrs. Robert Gress and Mrs. Howard Schultz, both sisters of the
bride. Serving the groom as best man was Robert Stigen;
Groomsmen were Robert Gress and Howard Schultz. Attending to
ushering were Devere Krejci and Irvin Metcalf.
Linda Grottke attended the bride as
flower girl.
Wilfred Galstad accompanied by
Sharon Eide sang "Today," The Lord’s prayer" and "O
Lord."
One hundred guests attended the wedding
reception held in the church parlors.
Mr. and Mrs. Northup are graduates of
Neillsville High School. The bride also completed a course at the
Wood County Normal School and has been teaching. The groom is
