Garbisch,* (Marriage - 3 June
1956)
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bartsch have returned
from their wedding trip to the Lincoln Country in Illinois and area
at home at Granton. Mr. and Mrs. Bartsch were married June 3,
at Zion Lutheran Church, Granton, in a double ring ceremony
performed by the Rev. Arthur Oswald.
The bride, given in marriage by her
father, Frederick Garbisch, wore a floor length dress of Chantilly
lace over satin bodice, with a skirt fashioned with two layers of
nylon net with Chantilly lace inserts. She carried a bouquet of
white carnations and stephanotis surrounding a white
orchid.
Attending were Evelyn Garbisch as maid of
honor, and Lila Schmitz, Betty Bartsch and Dorothy Hiles.
The groom was attended by Leland Bartsch
as bestman, Jerry Schmitz, Stanley Sternitzky, Eugene Cattanach,
Merle Bartsch and Ronald Garbisch.
The bride taught at the Shortville School
the past year and the groom is employed at the Lynn
Dairy.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs.
Frederick Garbisch of Granton, and the groom’s father is Fred
Bartsch, also so Granton.
