DeLap, Lois (? - June 1956)
Mrs. Lois DeLap, 29, of Viroqua, the
daughter of Mrs. Theo Crume of Neillsville, was buried June 19 at
Viroqua. She was born in La Crosse, lived briefly in
Neillsville and spent most of her life in Viroqua. She was
graduated from high school there, worked as an aid in the hospital,
was married October 27, 1945, to Ray DeLap.
Surviving are her husband and two
children, Sandra, 9, and Danny, 7, and her mother, Mrs. Theo
Crume. Also surviving are five sisters and one brother.
The sisters are: Mrs. Melvin (Catherine) Peterson of Viroqua; Mrs.
Everett (Joyce) Hanson of Milwaukee; Mrs. Edward (Carol) Campbell
of San Antonio, Tex.; Joan and Kay at home in Neillsville.
The brother, Harlan Crume, is in the air force. Her mother
and all of the sisters and the brother attended the funeral.
She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Ida Gower,
of Granton.
Others who attended funeral services
were: Mr. and Mrs. Lisle Armitage of Neillsville (missing the
balance).
