Neuhaus, Rose (Norway Trip -
1956)
Mrs. Rose Neuhaus, a former resident of
the Neillsville area for several years, has left on a trip to
Norway. She accompanied her daughter and husband, Mr. and
Mrs. Ollie Danielsen of Milwaukee, who are making the trip to visit
his relatives, whom he has not seen for 26 years. Mr.
Danielsen is a native of Norway.
The travelers left Milwaukee by train and
at New York boarded a Norwegian passenger liner on July 18 for
Grimstad, Norway.
Mrs. Neuhaus will celebrate her
70th birthday while away.
The Danielsens will visit their son, Dean
Danielsen, stationed with the armed forces in Germany. They
will also visit relatives in Switzerland. Anyone wishing to
write to Mrs. Neuhaus may send mail to her, in care of Karl
Didriksen, Frivold Grimstad, Norway.
The Neuhaus family resided for many years north of Neillsville on the small farm now owned by the Louis Nemitz family. Following the death of her husband Mrs. Neuhaus has made her home with her children.
