Framberger, Joseph (1865 - 7 September
1956)
Word reached Mrs. Bruno Woodzick Friday
of the death of her father, Joseph Framberger, 91, at a nursing
home in Milwaukee, where he had resided the past 10 years.
Funeral services were held Monday morning
at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Stratford, and were
attended by Mr. and Mrs. Woodzick.
Mr. Framberger was born in 1865 in
Germany, and came at the age of 21 to the United States. He
was a farmer and lived at Stratford most of his life. His
wife, Josephine, died in 1942.
Surviving are 10 children, 42 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. One son, Martin, resides in Madison and is head of the American Dairy Association of Wisconsin. He is well known throughout the state. A son, Herman, resides on the home farm at Stratford.
