Oedsma, Ida L. (Marriage - 1 September
1956)
Ida L. Oedsma, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Melvin Larson of River Falls, and Herbert Hahn of Humbird, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hahn of Maywood, Ill., were married Saturday,
September 1, in River Falls.
The bride chose a gown of white Chantilly
lace over ice-blue satin made ballerina length with a Sabrina
neckline. She wore a matching hat and carried a whie orchid
and ‘mums with streamers.
Mrs. Gordon Martinson of New Richmond was
matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Mrs. Jake Blum of Humbird,
the groom’s sister.
Jake Blum of Humbird attended his
brother-in-law as bestman. Groomsman was Gordon Martinson of New
Richmond, brother-in-law of the bride. Ushers were Gerald
Larson and John Larson, brothers of the bride.
After a wedding trip to the New England
states the couple will live at 509 E. Cascade, River Falls.
Both are seniors at Wisconsin State College, River Falls.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hart and Mrs. Martha Simons from Humbird were among the relatives present.
