Feutz, Bernita (21 March 1916 - 9 October
1956)
The Rev. R. C. White officiated Monday
afternoon at funeral services for Mrs. Roy (Bernita) Feutz, a
former Neillsville resident, who died Tuesday at her home in
Cheyenne, Wyo. Interment took place in the Neillsville City
Cemetery.
The body arrived Friday evening and
reposed at the Georgas Funeral Home until time of service on
Monday.
Mrs. Feutz, the former Bernita Raine, was
born March 21, 1916, and was graduated from Neillsville High School
as valedictorian in the class of 1933. Following her
graduation she was employed in the office of the American Stores
Dairy Company for nine years, and on August 29, 1942, she was
married to Roy Feutz at Miami, Fla. The Feutzes resided in
Cheyenne, Wyo., and for two years previous in Newfoundland, where
Mr. Feutz was stationed with the armed forces. The deceased
had been in poor health for the past year.
She is survived by her husband and a son,
Roy, J.; a brother, Darrell Raine, Neillsville; and her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Everett Raine, Neillsville.
Pallbearers were: Dr. C. N. Schield,
Henry E. Rahn, M. M. Quinlan, Max Lukas, Emil Hauri and Harley
Seif.
Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Walter
Kren, Mrs. Helen Meyer and Mrs. Henry Rahn.
Out of town relatives attending the rites were her husband, Maj. Roy Feutz and son, Roy, Jr., Cheyenne, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Feutz and children, Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Neil Johnson, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Shedden, Clintonville; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Lindsay and George Raine, Cuba City; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Ryser, Fond du Lac; Mr. and Mrs. William Feutz, Waunakee; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Webster and Orville Webster, Platteville; Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Huckstead, Marshfield; Isaac Higgins, Harvard, Ill.; Mrs. Will U’ren, Fennimore; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thur and family, Fairchild, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Terrell, Earl Zimmerman and Mrs. Oswald Michael, Humbird.
