Warner, Norma (Marriage - 20 October
1956)
The church parlor of Our Savior’s
Lutheran Church at Greenwood was the setting for the reception
where Miss Norma Warner of Greenwood and Donald C. Telford of Thorp
greeted their guests, following their marriage Saturday in a
candlelight service. The Rev. I. J. Tanner performed the
double ring ceremony at 7 p.m.
White silk shantung in waltz length
styled the bride’s gown. The bodice was fashioned with
a scooped neckline. The full gathered skirt fell from a long
torso. She wore a white feather half pillbox hat and carried a
white orchid with a purple throat and white stephanotis on a white
lace covered Bible.
Mrs. Thomas P. Larson of Warwick, Va.,
was her sister’s matron of honor.
Harold L. Warner, brother of the bride
was bestman. Groomsmen were Lawrence Jackson and Sylvester
Hedler. Ushers were Gerald Glasshof and Dan Slupski, both of
Thorp.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs.
Donald D. Warner of Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Vilas Telford of
Thorp.
The bride has been employed as a bookkeeper at the Sanna Dairies in Madison and the groom is employed by the Dolly Madison Dairies of Eau Claire. They will reside at 525 ½ 5th St. Eau Claire.
