Rossman, Stena (13 June 1876 - 7 November 1956) 
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Stena Rossman, 80, were held Saturday at the Myre Funeral Home with the Rev. Virgil Holmes, pastor of the Neillsville Methodist Church, officiating.  James Colby was soloist.  Interment was in Pine Grove Cemetery. 
 

Death occurred Wednesday morning, November 7, at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville.  She had been in poor health for several years with a heart ailment. 
 

Mrs. Rossman, nee Stena Severson, was born in Norway, June 13, 1876, and came to the Loyal area with her parents when three years of age.  She was married to William McPherson in 1893, and in 1900 they left to homestead in Canada.  Five years after his death in 1916 she returned to the States.  She married William James Lyle of Veefkind in 1924 and after short (missing sentences) grandchildren; and several step-children. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death. 
 

Pallbearers were Kenneth Duell, Roy Thomas, Frank Oestreich, Perry Volk, Ray Prior, and Neil Johnston.
