Funeral services were held Saturday evening at the Georgas Funeral Home for Jacob Stucki, 56, former resident of Neillsville, who died suddenly Thursday at his home in Loretta. The Rev. Albert Guthmiller, pastor of the E. & R. Church, officiated.  
 

Following Saturday evening services the body reposed at the funeral home until Sunday, when it was taken to the Indian Mission Church at Black River Falls, where services were conducted Sunday afternoon. Officiating was Rev. Mitchell Whiterabbit.  Burial took place in the Mission Cemetery. 
 

Mr. Stucki was born February 5, 1900, at Black River Falls.  He received his education at the mission there.  He worked at various trades, and for several years was the gardener at the Winnebago Indian School farm near Neillsville. For the past 17 years he had been employed by the Consolidated Paper Company.  He had been in failing health for the past year. 
 

Surviving him are three sisters: Mrs. Lydia Boop and Mrs. Johanna Spire, both of Youngstown, O.; Mrs. George (Marie) Grether of Neillsville.  Four brothers also survive: John Stucki of Denver, Colo.; the Rev. Benj. Stucki, Neillsville; the Rev. Frank Stucki, Kansas City, Mo.; and Henry Stucki, Neillsville. 
 

He was a member of the Indian Mission Church at Black River Falls.
