November 1956)
Funeral services for Katherine Vogel, 65,
of Greenwood were held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in
Greenwood Saturday morning. The Rev. Edward Hartung
officiated. Burial was made in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery
at Boyd.
Katherine Vogel was born in Boyd March
18, 1891. She had been living at the Marden Nursing Home the
past 10 years. She died Wednesday morning in a Marshfield
hospital, where she was taken after suffering a stroke early that
day.
Pallbearers were: John Brezic, Tony
Trunkel, Joseph Kohlnhofer, Mike Podobnik, Sr., John Snedic, and
Jerry Wittman.
Among those attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Gerald (Rose) Lund of Waterloo, Ia., and his mother of Stanley.
